Get involved

Individuals, companies, schools and institutions all have a part to play. What matters most is support that lasts a whole school year, not a single afternoon.

Give

A gift pays for one of three things. You can name which when you write to the Secretariat.

  • A Balik-Eskwela kit

A school bag and an envelope of grade-appropriate materials, handed to a child before the school year opens.

  • A scholarship year

A kit, educational assistance every grading period, a check on every report card, and tutoring if a scholar falls behind.

  • Support for a mother

Livelihood training and preparation for release through SINULID ng Pag-asa, and legal assistance through LAYA.

The Foundation will publish the cost of a kit and of a scholarship year with its first annual report. Until then, the Secretariat can tell you.

What support has done so far

The Foundation began its work in July 2026. This is what it has done since, each with a full report.

Every child beneficiary received a school bag, an envelope of materials for their grade level and a Foundation shirt. The day also had games with prizes, and lunch for the families and the jail’s personnel.

Briefing and Orientation19 July 2026

The four programs were explained to the mothers and children in the jail’s hallway. The mothers received the Foundation’s terms in print and signed their agreements, with the Foundation’s social worker on hand.

Partnership Visit to Museo Pambata1 July 2026

Partnership talks began with Museo Pambata on programs for the children of mothers deprived of liberty, including a possible tutoring partnership with Khan Academy Philippines.

For individuals, companies and institutions supporting the Foundation’s work across a full program year. Every level funds the same programs. The difference is how far the support reaches.

Enquire about sponsorship

Suggested contributions, in Philippine pesos. Every sponsorship is acknowledged with an official receipt, and sponsors receive the field reports of the activities their support pays for.

Partner with us

A small foundation depends on partners for what it cannot supply alone: places, expertise, reach and continuity.

The Foundation already works with the Makati City Jail under the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and began partnership talks with Museo Pambata in July 2026, including a possible partnership with Khan Academy Philippines on tutoring.

We would especially like to hear from:

  • Schools and universities that can offer tutoring or scholarships
  • Lawyers and legal aid groups who can help with LAYA
  • Companies that can offer livelihood training or work after release
  • Counselors and psychologists
  • Local governments and other jails

Propose a partnership

Volunteer

Volunteers help at distributions, tutor scholars, support the Secretariat, and lend professional skills such as accounting, design, photography, law and social work.

Because the work involves children and a jail, every volunteer who meets beneficiaries first goes through the Foundation’s safeguarding orientation, and some roles need clearance from the jail.
